It Looks Like Parkinson, Acts like Alzheimer's, It's Lewy Body Dementia

My three hour course from HomeCEUConnection to explain the differences betwee Parkinson, Alzheimers, and Lewy Body Dementia is available in the catalogue.  The first hour prepares professionals to recognize the symptoms of Lewy Body Dementia regardless whether LBD is mentioned in the chart. This is critically important because a classic symptom of LBD is excessive sensitivity to many drugs routinely given to people who have Parkinson's or Alzheimers.

The second hour offers strategies for treating LBD symptoms by PTs, OTs, and Speech Pathologists.

The last hour is dedicated to explaining key strategies to make caregiving easier and add to the quality of life for both the person with LBD and the caregiver.  It is the information all caregivers will be glad their professionals discussed with them. I have added a snippet of the course below.

Lets Meet!

I frequently speak to various caregiver groups, and would love to see as many people as possible. Come share your stories with me and the rest of the group.
